A Pocket Sized Digital Camcorder For Less Than $400?

When shopping for a new camcorder I made a point to look for one that was small and portable. I mean really small and portable.
To my surprise there is a very high quality, extremely compact, digital camcorder available for less than $400. It's the Panasonic PV-DC152 and in my opinion it's a steal of a deal.
To read more about why I like this camcorder, click here.
Why This Camcorder Is Great:
It's frickin' small. The official dimensions are 2.7 in x 4.5 in x 3.5 in. It will fit in your coat pocket without trouble.
It's digital (MiniDV), and the picture quality is top notch. It has firewire support, so you can hook it up to your computer and create digital videos.
It has a 93% rating at CNET.
There are 2 other models in this same Panasonic series. The PV-DC252 is about $100 more, and is exactly the same but comes with a memory stick for storing still pictures. The PV-DC352 adds a Leica lens, which is very nice, but it also adds about $500 to the retail value.
The optical zoom is only 10X, which is a lot less than the 26X I had on my previous camcorder, but that's the price you pay for such a compact size.
It comes with a handy remote control, charger and battery. There is a built in zoom-mic and the audio quality is amazing! From what I had read the video quality was superb, and I have found nothing to dispute that claim.
So if you're looking for a great camcorder, check out the PV-DC152 on Ebay, where you can pick one up for $350 or less.
